I came to the United States when I was 16-years-old. In Mexico, I was building robots for a company, so I knew a lot about drawings and welding. When I moved to the United States my dad put me to work on the farm for 3 months and I didn't like it. I moved to Miland and worked for a local welding company. At first, they didn't want to give me the opportunity to work for them because I didn't speak any English at all. I told the owner of the company, "Give me the chance to prove that I can do the job. If you do not like my work in a day, maybe a week...I will walk away without pay. All you gotta do is give me the chance."
